"'What’s he give you?' I once asked.

'Freedom,' she breathed.

Chimes of freedom. I taped Dylan’s picture between Rimbaud and Lotte Lenya. I was beginning to comprehend why we draw from others. We are trapped in our own teenage skins. We long for a way out but lack the right moves, verbs, and curves. So we lift a hair, a gesture, a way of dress. Any mean necessary to break out."

- Patti Smith [we can be heroes [from Details, July 1993]

Dear World Wide Web,

Welcome to my diary, a collection of inspirations and continue to influence me today. You are my creative median, you allow me to have total control, which completely frees (and blows) my mind. What you are looking at is a site dedicated to photographers, artists, designers, writers (both lyrically and poetically) and most of all, personalities who come from different backgrounds, industries, age groups, ethnicities, and socio-economic standing. It is not my intention to have a site dedicated to fashion, trends, style, etc., but to give you a glimpse into the mind of a twenty-something “youthquaker”. I do hope that you will similarly be inspired by this cyber diary and find the means to break out.
