Turning Mom pants into Harem pants. So turn them inside out and put them on so you can see how much to cut off. Next you pin them. You can do one side and then use it to measure the other side by just folding the pants in half. I don't have a sewing machine so I do it all by hand but, if you have a sewing machine and know how to use it you can do this in 15 min. You want to make them pretty tight at the bottom and fold to make a cuff. I made pleats by grabbing an inch on each side and sewing it closed. This pair only cost $1.
